Since most of our family is in Michigan, we decided to celebrate Charlotte's birthday in my parent's backyard on one of the hottest weekends of the summer! I guess that comes with the territory of July birthdays! Her first birthday was exactly as I envisioned it would be and so many of the people that love her the most came to celebrate with us!
